Birch Creek Farm in Cream Ridge, New Jersey, and Country Life Farm in Maryland will be joining together to showcase stallions from each farm on Sunday, January 12 from 1:00 pm-3:00 pm. The stallion show will be held at Birch Creek Farm.
The Thoroughbred Breeders' Association of New Jersey and the Maryland Horse Breeders Association have had preliminary discussions about the formation of a regional racing program and the stallion show will be the first of what we all hope will be increased cooperation between state bred programs in the Mid-Atlantic region.
Mike Campbell, Executive Director of the Thoroughbred Breeders' Association of New Jersey and Cricket Goodall, Executive Director of the Maryland Horse Breeders Association will be on hand to answer questions and listen to your suggestions about how to advance the regional racing program so that breeders and owners from both states can benefit.
Stallions on parade will be Freedom Child from Maryland's Country Life Farm and the Birch Creek stallions Freud's Honour, Il Postino, March to Victory and Secret Getaway.
